Assembly of Single Kitchen

Hereby we give a brief introduction of the jointing parts that are used for assembling the kitchen cabinet ,including the barbed nuts , the joint screws and the cam.

Next ,let’s take a look at the mounting of hinges on the system holes. Firstly ,insert the rubber plugs into the system holes and secure the hinges onto the plastic plugs with screws .  In the end, put the plastic caps on system holes.  The standard technique of assembling hinges on system holes allows you to assemble and disassemble the hinges without damaging the side panels of the cabinet.

First of all, lets open the packaging to count the number of parts and inspect their quality.  Lay a blanket on the floor before assembly. Place the side panels flat on the floor and attach the joint parts(tenons) onto the two side panels.  Align the bottom panel, the fixed filler and the front and back setting levers with the holes and secure them with the cam.

 Afterward, place the other side panel in right place and secure with cam. Put the cabinet straight and use blade to remove away the excessive PVC covers on both ends of the back panel flutes.

In the end, insert the back panel in the flute and secure with screws. Please pay attention the back panel go along well with the flute. Otherwise, the lean of the cabinet body will take effect on the adjustment of the door panels.

To install the fixed filler on the corner cabinet, use a radius 4.2MM drill to drill a hole on the bottom panel at a place near the fixed filler.  

Use pneumatic screwdriver to turn at the hole positions to form countersink holes. Use 4*50 self -tapping screws to secure the fixed filler on the bottom panel. Keep the cabinet bottom up to install the adjustable feet. Measure 50MM from front side of the cabinet Normally install four feet on 400-700MM base cabinet and install six feet on 800 -1000 MM base cabinet.

Hereby we have finished the assembly for the body of corner base cabinet. Having finished the assembly of the cabinet body, lay the cabinet body on the floor with the back panel downward. Join fixing filler with the door panel by using straight door hinge.

Then, place the door panel on the fixing filler and level it with the bottom panel Secure it  with self-tapping screws onto the filler .In the end, adjust the door panel .The assembly of the corner base cabinet is completed .

8 steps to choose kitchen cabinet

1.  Inspect edge banding

AS superior kitchen cabinet, you can touch its edge banding to feel whether it’s subtila and smooth. Professional manufacture will finish edge banding, break, deburring, chamfer, polish with one time. Their gluing is also very balance to ensure the pressure stability when sticking. On the contrary, mill factory only can glue with brush by hand, edge banding is not secure enough to prevent the poisonous gas volatilize into air.


2.  Tapping

Nowadays, most panel furniture is assembling with 3-in-1 connector, so the request of tapping position is very strictly. It affects the kitchen cabinet carcase construction fastness. In technical factory, they have precise machine to tapping on a big panel side by side to guarantee the position finished accurately. The manual operation of small factory will appear error often, so you can judge the quality from tapping easily.


3. Board cutting

This is the first step of kitchen cabinet process. Large factory will put the cutting size data into computer to process by cutting saw machine then cutting several pieces board by once time, so that board will not appear any error or others damage. If cut board worker with saw, it will be crumble easily.


4. Door panel

Door panel is the face of kitchen cabinet, as important as human’s face. It made up with base material and finish. If they are process inappropriate, door panel will be damp deformation easily.


5. Assemble effect

Any error during process will appear in door panel, so when you find the gap between door and carcase panels is not equality, just quit it.


6. Drawer slides

Although drawer slides are a tiny detail, it affects kitchen cabinet quality a lot. The position of tapping and error of panel size will both affect slides installation, then lead to slides works not smoothly or become flexible.


7. Countertop

Check the surface is whether smooth without any flaw, connection line should be also not conspicuous. The code on back side must be clear to be seen.


8. Smell

When opening the cabinet door, if there’s sharp flavor, it indicates the raw material is not environmental, even it’s poisonous to be harm for your health.

Tips for Solid Wood Kitchen Cabinets

1. Color tolerance of solid wood door panel

Solid wood door panel was made of natural wood processed by more than 20 processes. One kind of natural wood can be classified into heartwood and sapwood、springwood and summerwood、cross-sawn wood and flat-sawn wood. Each wood has different color and grain, so it was unavoidable for the color difference of door panels. We can assure the color in same set of door panels will be almost the same, but a little different from the small samples displayed in store.


2. Surrounding environment and daily maintenance

Due to the feature of solid wood that can easily expand or shrink, a good surrounding environment is very important to solid wood kitchen cabinets.
Solid wood door panel can easily crack or distort if the surrounding environment is too wet or too dry. In moist weather, please keep the surrounding environment dry, wipe away the water drops left on floor and door panels, keeps ventilation in rooms. In dry weather, please put one basin of water in kitchen to keep air wet.
Please do not expose the kitchen cabinets directly to sunlight.


3. Repair of solid wood door panel

Please neglect the slight cracks if they appear at the combining joints of door panel but do not affect the structure and normal usage. Please contact your local dealer in case of severe cracks or distortions appear on the door panels and affect the structure and normal usage.

Usage and Maintenance of Kitchen Cabinets

1. Countertop made of artificial stone

Check countertop regularly. Do not put irrelevant or easy-dyeing articles on the countertop; do not expose it to sunlight for a long period.

If there are stains on the surface of countertop, please wipe them up by soft wet rag with a little detergent or soap water first, and then use a soft dry rag to clean up the stains. Always keep the countertop dry by wiping any water drops on it using a soft dry rag to avoid color variation.

To avoid any damage to countertop, do not directly put high temperature objects (such as boiling water, bowl、pan and other kitchenware just taken out from stove、oven and microwave) and acidic objects on it.

Do not strike countertop with heavy or sharp objects, do not cut or chop food on the countertop directly to avoid scratch. Please contact the dealer to polish it in case of obvious scratch.

Please do not continuously cook by heavy-fire stove on countertop for a long period (not exceeding 12 hours each time) to avoid damage.


2. Door panels

Normally there should not appear unpleasant noises, jam-up, displacement or other abnormal phenomena when door panels are opened and closed. Otherwise, please call the dealer to adjust them. If door hinges rust or loosen, please call the dealer to replace or repair them.

Do not wipe the surface with hard objects or strike with sharp objects on the door panels.

To avoid any expansion and distortion, wipe any water drops or liquid away from the surface of door panels by dry soft rag in time.


3. Carcases

Open cabinet doors often to keep ventilation at the early days after installation.

Do not store irrelevant articles in the cabinets and clean up the inside surfaces of the cabinets frequently.

Wipe any liquid or water drops away from the carsase to keep carcase interiors dry. Often check carcase boards to ensure no exterior scars or edge band falling-off occurring.


4. Drawers & Slides, Metal hardware

Mind if there is any noise, looseness or non-smooth while pulling-pushing drawers. Wipe off dirt in the slides in time.

Do not store articles weight above 30KG in drawers. Do not adjust and dismantle drawers randomly.
